Erick Smart

Erick Smart specializes in disability insurance for Professional/Amateur Athletes, Entertainers and High Net Worth individuals and provides unique solutions that meet the high limit needs of his clients.

Erick began his career as a group benefits advisor with Ball-Peoples. While at the firm, Erick specialized in risk management and group benefit strategies that controlled plan expenses and improved overall employee health.

Prior to his insurance career, Erick was a stunt double for movies, TV shows and commercials. Erick is a founder of the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce and serves as a volunteer coach for the Western Hills Little League. Through the Austin Young Chamber, Erick has enjoyed working with several non-profits that specialize in helping children and young adults.

Erick grew up in Austin, TX and attended Westlake High School. While at Westlake, Erick earned all-conference & all-state honors in both baseball and football. Erick began his collegiate career playing football at Texas Tech University and continued his education at St. Edwards University, where he was a Business Communications major and a member of the Dean’s List.

Erick and his wife, Jennifer, live in Austin, TX with their son, Porter. During his off time, Erick enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.
