Greg Dobbs

Greg Dobbs brings a history of leadership and accomplishment to Parq Advisors, including a 14 year professional baseball career and extensive contributions in the world of nonprofit.

During his 9 year Major League career, Greg accrued several honors such as 2008 World Series Champion with the Philadelphia Phillies, set the Phillies all-time single-season pinch-hit record and hit a homerun in his first major league at-bat with the Seattle Mariners, making him the 20th player in MLB history to hit a pinch-hit homerun in his first major league at-bat. In 2008, he was awarded the Philadelphia Phillies Good Guy Award by the Philadelphia Sportswriters. This honor is given each year to one player who exemplifies a good-natured personality and professionalism on and off the field.

While playing for the Philadelphia Phillies, Greg served on the Board of Trustees for Bancroft Neurohealth, a non-profit that serves children and adults with autism and other disabilities. As a Miami Marlin, Greg started “The Lil’ Dobbers” program to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami which gave children an on-field experience with Greg while stressing the importance of education.

Currently, Greg serves on the West Coast Advisory Board for Team Impact, a non-profit charity which pairs children facing life threatening diseases with NCAA sports teams across the nation.

Greg attended the University of Oklahoma where he garnered All American and Scholar Athlete honors. He and his wife Heidi have two children, Taylor and Brady, and reside in Los Angeles. In his free time, Greg enjoys golfing, cycling, and coaching or watching his children’s sports.
